Dr. Chris Dietrich
Veterinarian / Owner
Dr. Chris Dietrich and his wife, Michelle, dreamed of starting a veterinary practice for years and finally made the leap of faith in 2020. After looking all over DFW for the ideal space, they decided to open in their hometown of Colleyville, TX. truBOND Veterinary Center is their dream come true.
As a practicing veterinarian, Dr. Dietrich enjoys surgery and is passionate about dentistry and heartworm prevention. Clients see him as comforting, informative, and thorough. They appreciate the time he spends explaining and answering questions.
Dr. Dietrich received his undergraduate degree in chemistry and biology from Baylor University and his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Texas A&M University. Outside of truBOND, Dr. Dietrich and Michelle stay busy raising their 3 boys, spending time with their beloved dogs Rusty and Lucy, and volunteering in the community.

Dr. Kirk Cito
Veterinarian
Kirk is a Colorado State University graduate who practiced in colorado for twenty years before relocating to Texas in 2019. He has years of experience in many areas of veterinary medicine and business holding licenses in three states.
Dr. Cito enjoys surgery and is passionate about preventative care and nutrition. He has experience caring for reptiles, small mammals, and pocket pets along with the traditional companion animals.
Outside of truBond, Dr. Cito and his wife, Candace, are busy with a son and two daughters to go with their two adopted dogs and two rescued cats.

Michelle
Finance / Marketing
Michelle Dietrich and her husband, Dr. Dietrich, are living a long-time dream with the opening of truBOND Veterinary Center. Michelle has always wanted to own a small business and she couldn’t be more excited to serve the community where she lives.
At truBOND, Michelle is in charge of both finance and marketing. She has experience in banking, IT, and commercial real-estate appraising prior to truBOND. Her favorite part of her current role is getting to meet new people and pets in the community
Michelle received a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and a Master in Business Administration both from the University of Texas at Arlington. Outside of truBOND, Michelle and Dr. Dietrich stay busy raising their 3 boys, spending time with their beloved dogs Rusty and Lucy, and volunteering in the community.

Ambrose
Groomer
Ambrose has always wanted to work with animals for as long as they can remember. When they were a teenager, they spent their free time running a small dog walking and training business, reading about canines, and volunteering at animal shelters. In 2017 after a lot of hard work, Ambrose became a certified groomer.
Ambrose plans to specialize in grooming terriers, poodles, and double-coated breeds. Not only are they passionate about grooming but canine training as well. They hope to become a certified trainer and a certified canine behavior consultant.
Away from work they love to spend time with their partner Corinthian and canine companion, Nova Scotia.

April
Veterinary Assistant
April has been a veterinary technician for 4 years and is working towards becoming a licensed technician. She always had a love of animals, even spending her summers with her grandpa taking care of the farm animals, spending hours talking with the animals, and reading to them. That level of care and attention has influenced the type of technician she strives to be.
April loves educating pet parents on the care of their fur babies. She also enjoys working with patients in recovery from dental cleanings and surgeries. When working as a recovery nurse, she ensures that their recovery is smooth and that the pet parent is educated on home care after the procedure. She also spends time talking to them and giving them the love and attention, they deserve.
April and her husband have a heart for older pets and have adopted two geriatric dogs, Titan and Jola.

Elysa
Veterinary Assistant
Elysa graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Cedar Valley College in 2015. She is currently working on obtaining her Texas Veterinary Technician License.
Elysa loves anesthesia and surgery. She is highly trained in inducing and maintaining anesthesia as well as surgery prep and assistance. Elysa is excited to continue growing her skill set by offering more advanced care at truBOND Veterinary Center.
When not at work, Elysa enjoys spending time with her family and her bagle (beagle and basset hound mix), Georgie.

Lia
Veterinary Assistant
Lia is our Veterinary Assistant and hopeful future Veterinarian. She graduated from Texas A&M with her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in December of 2021 and plans on continuing her education by applying to Veterinary school this year. She spent most of her undergraduate degree working with large animals but wanted to step out of her comfort zone and expand her knowledge of small animals.
Lia loves learning all she can about veterinary medicine, but her favorite part about her job is building relationships with the client and their pet. Lia is excited to continue her education and develop her skill set to offer the best care possible.
Outside of work, you can find Lia with a book in her hand or listening to a true-crime podcast. She loves spending time with her friends, family, her 3 fur babies, dog Soni, and her two cats, Rin and Stormi.

Alyssa
Veterinary Assistant
Her career in veterinary medicine started as a receptionist, and she soon worked her way up to Veterinary assistant. Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine are furthering her surgery technician skill set and starting new relationships with first-time puppy owners. Alyssa is excited to learn as much as she can here at truBOND and is grateful to be part of such a caring team.
In her free time, she enjoys going on long runs and walks with her son and four dogs, Zeo, Zia, Zoey, and Zeus. Alyssa is an Aquarium enthusiast and recently added a new Koi betta fish to her collection! She is currently working towards earning her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

Shaylan
Bather / Kennel Assistant
Shaylan is our Bather and Kennel Assistant. She does all the bathing and de-shedding for our patients as well as keeping our Kennels and Facility clean and disinfected. Her passion is caring for animals.
Shaylan enjoys bathing and learning everything she can about animals. Her favorite part about her current role is relieving pets of their undercoat and watching how much more comfortable and happy they are afterward.
Shaylan has three ferrets, Spyro, Luka, and Loki as well as two dogs, Petey and Brady.

Aria
Receptionist
Aria is our receptionist and a future veterinary technician. She is currently enrolled in the Certified Veterinary Assistant program at Penn Foster and graduates this year. Aria plans to continue her education and become a licensed veterinary technician.
Aria is thrilled to be working at truBOND and is excited to learn everything there is to know about the veterinary field. Since the first day, she knew truBOND was the place she was meant to be. Aria says, “Dr. Dietrich and his staff have welcomed me into their work family and I am truly blessed to be here. I’m very excited to learn absolutely everything I can from the best people in veterinary medicine.”
Aria’s love for animals goes beyond cats and dogs and pours into wildlife where she is licensed as a rehabilitator through Texas Parks and Wildlife. The only thing she adores more than helping animals and their loving owners is her husband and their four children. Aria has 3 very large fur babies who complete her family.

Katherine
Katherine graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Geography. Her love for animals brought her to complete a veterinary medicine program in high school and has been in the veterinary field ever since. She completed two internships at zoos where she got to work with a variety of animal species.
Katherine loves working with pets that have behavioral concerns. Her experience with rescues made her understanding and patient. She works hard to provide a positive environment that is comfortable for all pets.
In her free time, she loves to go on nature walks with her dog Dobie, travel, kayaking, horseback riding, and spend time with her family and friends.

Bruno
Bruno has a passion for medicine and healing others. One day he hopes to achieve his dream of becoming a Medical Doctor. Working with pets has expanded both his skills and knowledge of healthcare, lessons which he states will be invaluable in his journey.
When he is not on the clock, Bruno likes to spend his time participating in outdoor activities such as jogging or skateboarding. He may also be heard exercising his Minor in Music by playing melodies on his piano or guitar.
