Dr. Chris Dietrich
Veterinarian / Owner
Dr. Chris Dietrich and his wife, Michelle, dreamed of starting a veterinary practice for years and finally made the leap of faith in 2020. After looking all over DFW for the ideal space, they decided to open in their hometown of Colleyville, TX. truBOND Veterinary Center is their dream come true.
As a practicing veterinarian, Dr. Dietrich enjoys surgery and is passionate about dentistry and heartworm prevention. Clients see him as comforting, informative, and thorough. They appreciate the time he spends explaining and answering questions.
Dr. Dietrich received his undergraduate degree in chemistry and biology from Baylor University and his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Texas A&M University. Outside of truBOND, Dr. Dietrich and Michelle stay busy raising their 3 boys, spending time with their beloved dogs Rusty and Lucy, and volunteering in the community.
Dr. Kirk Cito
Veterinarian
Kirk is a Colorado State University graduate who practiced in colorado for twenty years before relocating to Texas in 2019. He has years of experience in many areas of veterinary medicine and business holding licenses in three states.
Dr. Cito enjoys surgery and is passionate about preventative care and nutrition. He has experience caring for reptiles, small mammals, and pocket pets along with the traditional companion animals.
Outside of truBond, Dr. Cito and his wife, Candace, are busy with a son and two daughters to go with their two adopted dogs and two rescued cats.
Dr. Losack
Veterinarian
She has a special interest in endocrinology, dermatology, and dachshunds. At home, Dr. Losack has four furbabies, two dachshunds named Lester and Tango, and two foster fail cats named Reeper and Tadpole.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Losack enjoys traveling with her husband. Their favorite trip was traveling to Rwanda to hike with the gorillas and their safari in Tanzania.
Dr. Shearer
Veterinarian
Her favorite areas of veterinary medicine include surgery and preventative care. Outside of truBOND, Dr. Shearer loves spending time with her family, her partner Martin, and two feline fur babies Gracie and Omelette.
Dr. Shearer is so excited to meet all of your four-legged friends and looks forward to partnering with you to help your pets live long, healthy, happy lives.
Michelle
Finance / Marketing
Michelle Dietrich and her husband, Dr. Dietrich, are living a long-time dream with the opening of truBOND Veterinary Center. Michelle has always wanted to own a small business and she couldn’t be more excited to serve the community where she lives.
At truBOND, Michelle is in charge of both finance and marketing. She has experience in banking, IT, and commercial real-estate appraising prior to truBOND. Her favorite part of her current role is getting to meet new people and pets in the community
Michelle received a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and a Master in Business Administration both from the University of Texas at Arlington. Outside of truBOND, Michelle and Dr. Dietrich stay busy raising their 3 boys, spending time with their beloved dogs Rusty and Lucy, and volunteering in the community.
Ambrose
Groomer
Ambrose began their professional career as a groomer. Although they have worked at truBOND since the business opened, they have been a veterinary assistant for a few years prior. While working to obtain their license, they plan to specialize in a few fields but mainly focus on behavior.
As an animal lover, they currently own a Pitbull mix named Nova, and a Standard Poodle named Gibbly. In their free time, Ambrose enjoys relaxing with her pets and family. They plan to begin working in canine training again in the future, as well as returning to rescue work.
April
Veterinary Assistant
April has been a veterinary technician for 8 years and is working towards becoming a licensed technician. She always had a love of animals, even spending her summers with her grandpa taking care of the farm animals, spending hours talking with the animals, and reading to them. That level of care and attention has influenced the type of technician she strives to be.
April loves educating pet parents on the care of their fur babies. She also enjoys working with patients in recovery from dental cleanings and surgeries.
When working as a recovery nurse, she ensures that their recovery is smooth and that the pet parent is educated on home care after the procedure. She also spends time talking to them and giving them the love and attention they deserve.
April and her husband have 3 dogs Honey, Ben, and Clay that keep them busy.
Elysa
Veterinary Assistant
Elysa has been working at truBoND since it opened in 2021. She loves anesthesia and surgery. She is highly trained in inducing and maintaining anesthesia as well as surgery prep and assistance, Elysa loves that she gets to learn something new every day at truBOND and loves sharing her knowledge with her coworkers.
Elysa has two fur babies, Lanie, a lab mix, and Georgie, a beagle/basset mix (bagel). When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family.
Aria
Assistant
Aria is a Veterinary Assistant and a future Veterinary Technician. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Penn Foster.
Aria started as truBOND’s receptionist but has quickly worked her way up to becoming a veterinary assistant. Aria’s love for animals goes beyond cats and dogs and pours into wildlife, where she is licensed as a rehabilitator through Texas Parks and Wildlife.
The only thing she adores more than helping animals is her husband and their four children. Aria has an assortment of rescued fur babies as well ranging from a 140 lb great dane to a 3-legged raccoon.
Shaylan
Bather / Kennel Assistant
Shaylan is a Veterinary Equipment Maintenance Technician, who has been at truBOND since it opened in 2021.
Her favorite part about being a VEMT is sharpening surgical tools, wrapping packs, and making sure the hospital’s equipment is all taken care of and ready to go.
Shaylan has loved animals since a very young age and she loves to help with any animals in need. When not at work, Shaylan loves spending time with her ferrets Luka, Moji, Kaia, and Eevee, as well as her two dogs, Petey and Brady.
Bruno
Veterinary Technician
Bruno Martins Veras graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and later obtained a Masters of Science in Medical Science from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Bruno also worked as a Medical Scribe Trainer in Neurology and Emergency medicine prior to joining the Veterinary field.
As a prospective medical student, Bruno is fond of helping animals and humans alike. When outside of work, Bruno can often be found on his skateboard, working out, and enjoying nature. His favorite thing about working at truBOND is getting to interact with both new and old patients alongside his coworkers every day.
Bruno is thrilled to help provide an optimal experience for you and your pets at truBOND.
Lindsey
Veterinary Technician
When not at truBOND Lindsey loves going to Dallas Stars hockey games with her daughter and her fiance. Lindsey also enjoys spending time with her labrador Hatcher, as well as her two beloved cats Oliver and Lupin.
Lindsey is proud to bring her sharp clinical skills, experience, and empathy to help your pets be their best selves at truBOND.
Megan
Veterinary Technician
Megan started out as a kennel assistant back in 2021 in Frisco, TX. Megan worked her way to being a tech by 2022 then she came to truBOND in 2023. Megan found her love and passion for animals while growing up on her family’s farm in Arkansas, where she raised many animals including a baby deer once.
Megan currently has a Shetland Sheepdog, Torvi. They love to compete in agility trials together.
When Megan and Torvi are not at work or training, they enjoy spending time with her family and watching Game of Thrones together.
Brittany
Veterinary Technician
Brittany has been working in Veterinary Medicine for 12 years. She began by working with a Rescue group right out of high school that got her foot in the door at an ER. She started as a Kennel Assistant, moved up to Reception, and then became on the job trained for Veterinary Assistant 10 years ago. She has worked in General Practice, ER, Specialty, Large Animal, and Relief.
Brittany and her partner Daniel had their first baby [Malachi] together in November of 2023. Their Fur-family consists of Baron [Giant Schnauzer], Morty [Black Lab], and Paysley [Terrier]. When not at work, Brittany enjoys playing video games and getting lost in a book.
Brittany’s favorite thing about TruBOND is the relationships she has made. Not just with her coworkers, whom she happily calls family; but also with the wonderful clients and their fur-babies. She also enjoys how willing the doctors are to be hands-on and teach.
Kenya
Veterinary Technician
Kenya is a licensed veterinary technician who graduated from Tyler Junior College with her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology.
She has a special interest in anesthetic procedures, radiology, and sick appointments.
At home, she has three Boston Terriers named Ray, Nacho, and Emma, and an American Bully, Abe. Outside of the clinic, Kenya enjoys traveling and spending time with her loved ones.
Carter
Veterinary Assistant
Her favorite part about being a veterinary assistant is educating pet parents on the importance of routine dental cleanings and checkups. She also loves performing dental cleanings, improving the quality of life for aging pets, and sharing valuable knowledge and experience with her coworkers.
In her free time, Carter enjoys cuddling with her two cats (Kyo and Erza), spending time with family, reading, playing video games, and being outdoors fishing or hiking with her partner Michael.
Daniel
Kennel Assistant
Daniel started at truBOND as an intern through the Veterinary Assistant program at Colleyville High School. He graduated in 2022 and was brought on board as a Kennel assistant. He is one of the few people at truBOND that knows another language (Spanish). He is currently working on his skills to become a veterinary technician.
He enjoys sharing his knowledge and skills with the high school students that come in every year. Daniel loves developing lasting relationships with his coworkers.
Daniel joined the Veterinary Assistant program with the hopes of getting experience to go to vet school, but he has since decided to change his career path to human medicine. He is currently working on getting the basics done at TCC-Trinity River Campus in order to be an Assistant anesthesiologist.
Daniel enjoys spending time with his family and puppy Lilo when not at work.
Callie
Receptionist
Callie is one of the friendly faces behind the reception desk at truBOND. With a heart full of compassion, ensures that every client and their furry companions feel welcomed and cared for.
In her free time, she is raising her two sons and managing a lively household with five dogs and two cats, as well as currently pursuing further education.
With scheduling appointments or providing assistance to our veterinary team, Callie is grateful to be a part of tr, looks forward to assisting you to helping your loved pets live their best lives.
Mia
Receptionist
Mia has spent her entire life in Colleyville/HEB and she joined the truBOND family in early 2024. She has 11 wonderful sisters and one fortunate brother, making family gatherings lively and filled with cherished memories. Mia also has two beloved pets: Tezo, the pit bull, and Cooper, her adorable Frenchie.
Mia takes pride in her achievements, especially graduating from LD Bell and becoming a certified medical assistant. She finds fulfillment in assisting others and making a positive impact on their lives.
Mia has a deep passion for working with animals and finding joy and happiness in their presence. Being able to work with pets every day is a dream come true for her.
Bryn
Marketing/Social Media
Apart from her studies, Bryn is a dedicated pet parent to two Manx cats, Mia and Theo, and two dogs, Olive and Ryder. When she’s not studying or caring for her pets, Bryn enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, making cherished memories as well as indulging in a good book.
At truBOND, Bryn has found a supportive community where she can thrive and grow. She values the supportive environment fostered by her colleagues and appreciates the opportunity to build lasting connections with both fellow team members and cherished clients.
